Whatever distress may betide,
The saints may commit all their cares
To Him who will surely provide.

2

Occasioned a famine of bread,
The prophet, secured from the dearth,
By ravens was constantly fed.

Who on the good Shepherd rely!

Their wants He will surely supply.

All creatures obey His command;
And they who believe in His Name
May leave all their cares in His hand.
