We believe that (A) there is but one living and true God; that (B )there are Three Persons in the Godhead, – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, and that (C) these Three Persons are equal in nature, power, and glory; and we believe that the Son and the Holy Ghost are as truly and as properly God as the Father.
A: Ex 3:14, And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. De 4:35, Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the LORD he is God; there is none else beside him. De 6:4, Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD. Nu 23:19, God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? 1Sa 2:2-3, There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. Ps 90:2, Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. Ps 115:3, But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. Ps 135:5, For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods. Ps 139:7-10, Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. Pr 15:3, The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. Ec 3:14, I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. Isa 40:28, Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. Isa 45:22, Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. Isa 46:9, Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me. Jer 10:10, But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation. Jer 23:24, Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD. Mal 3:6, For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. Mr 12:29, And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord. Joh 4:24, God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. 1Co 8:6, But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. Col 1:16, For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.
B: Mt 28:19, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Joh 1:1, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2Co 13:14, The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. 1Jo 5:7, For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. Jude 20-21, But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
C: Joh 10:15, As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep. Joh 10:30, I and my Father are one. Eph 2:22, In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. Heb 1:3, Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high. Heb 9:14, How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
