We believe that the work of regeneration is not an act of man’s free will and natural power, but that it springs from the operation of the mighty, efficacious and invincible grace of God.

Ps 110:3, Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth. Jer 50:20, In those days, and in that time, saith the LORD, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve. Joh 1:13, Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. Joh 6:29, Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. Joh 6:63, It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. Joh 6:65, And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. Joh 16:8, And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment. Ro 8:16, The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God. Ro 9:4, Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises. Ro 9:6, Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel. Jas 1:18, Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
