C.M.

1
Do I believe that certain truth,
From heaven the record came,
Which tells the child, the man, the youth,
Ye must be born again?

2
And should the Lord by death call me
Before this heavenly birth,
Where Jesus is I could not be,
But sink below the earth.

3
Come, Holy Spirit, condescend
To breathe Thy life within,
This life from heaven shall never end,
If I am born again.

4
Then shall I sing with saints on high,
When this short life is o’er,
And see the Lamb who came to die,
And praise Him evermore.
